Our natural dye ikat infinity scarf combines traditional motifs and techniques with natural dying methods to create a unique statement piece.
These special scarves are handmade with natural vegetable dyes and hand woven on traditional backstrap looms. The graphic imagery symbolically represents the natural world in and around lake Atitlan, which surrounds and sustains the Mayan women who make them. The natural dying technique has been revisited by this group, to both protect and preserve tradition and the environment. Made from a cotton rayon blend, the fibers offer a luxurious, natural hand and drape. Scarf measures 76"L x 10"W.
Comes in blue, green or grey.
